The next Polish-Norwegian scientific workshop PRACTA
At the end of October at the Palace in Otrebusy/ near Warsaw there was another, the third, Polish-Norwegian scientific workshop PRACTA. This time the aim was a summary of fully completed study of physicians and their patients, and the course of educational intervention.
On the Polish side attended Dr. Dorota Wlodarczyk (leading), Dr. Magdalena Łazarewicz, Dr. Mariusz Jaworski, Dr. Miroslawa Adamus (in the order of delivering a presentation) and Dr. Marta Rzadkiewicz. The Norwegians was represented by prof. Geir Arild Espnes and prof. Monica Lillefjell.
We discussed the effects of interventions for physicians and patients. Together with specialists from Norway we analyzed the significance of the findings and plans for their dissemination among those who deal with activation of seniors and for publishing the results of the PRACTA project. The results of PRACTA research indicate that both PRACTA e-learning and materials in the form of an article affect doctors’ psychosocial competencies of activating the seniors. The effects, however, are different. Particularly noteworthy is that their impact is observed among both physicians and their patients. Currently PRACTA team will deal with the systematic analysis of the results. We will keep you informed about its progress.
