According to the premise, the PRACTA project was officially completed on February 28, 2017, but our activities related to it will be continued. Within the project we have managed to achieve all of the goals we have set, although some tasks required longer time than we expected.
Let’s recall:
- we carried out a pilot study among physicians and seniors to develop research tools
- we performed two waves of examination of the doctors and their patients; we have examined 393 doctors twice and a total of 8960 patients from the following voivodships: Mazowieckie, Wielkopolskie and Lodzkie
- we have developed and implemented the training "Activation of seniors in medical practice" in two forms: as e-learning and as an educational article
- so far, we have published 3 articles in international journals and next ones are under review and preparation

Our project provided valuable insights into the opportunities and barriers to activating seniors by primary healthcare physicians and enriched the available repertoire of methods for educating physicians in communicating with and activating seniors.
We encourage you to get acquainted with the main results of our research. [ report in pdf file ]
